Divine Mercy Sunday
The Divine Mercy Sunday Holy Hour, with veneration of relics of St. Faustina, will be held in the church at 3:00 p.m. on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 27.
Unveiling of Relics from St. Bernadette Church and the Feast of St. Gianna
Most consecrated altars have relics of a saint or saints. This ancient practice dates back to the early Church and serves as a reminder of the saints as our intercessors and role models, our guides to becoming more like Christ, whom we worship at the altar. We have removed the relics that were enclosed in St. Bernadette Church's altars and will unveil them and display them for veneration on the eve of the Feast of St. Gianna, Sunday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the church.
The following day, we will celebrate our parish feast day with Mass at 8:30 a.m. with our Queen of Martyrs school community, and at 6:30 p.m. with our Religious Education families. All are invited to join us for the unveiling ceremony and the Feast Day Mass.
