Youth Ministry embraces all Jr. High through High School aged teens who seek to enthusiastically live the Gosepl message, serve the Parish community, and make friends with one another and Jesus. 
We aim to demostrate our faith, as loving children of God through both our actions and words, in the various spiritual, service, and social opportunities which we participate. Youth Ministry fosters disciples of Christ and encourages leaders with hearts of service.

FULLY ALIVE

Please pray for our teens and adult leaders as we gather with Catholics across the nation to encounter God's love at NCYC, the largest Catholic Youth Conference in America.

All 7th-8th grade students of St. Gianna Parish are welcome to participate in the monthly Youth Ministry meetings. We begin at 6:30pm with prayer in the St. Joseph Room. Bring an open heart and an open mind for community building activities, faith discussions, and snacks! 
Meeting Schedule 2023-2024: September 28th, October 16th, and November 9th
Jr. High Registration FORM REQUIRED before attending. 

WHERE THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
SAVE THE DATE: YOUTH MINISTRY RETREAT NOVEMBER 4TH-5TH, 2023. Open to HS Sophomores-Seniors. More details on the retreat to follow. 
High School Teens and Young Adults are currently preparing for our retreat this fall. Formation meetings take place on Wednesday. Please keep the team in your prayers. 

GMYM spent the week of June 18th-24th in Harlan, KY. While there, the team of 14 teens and adult leaders built a ramp, cleaned out a house, provided landscaping, and installed two doors and a window. We spent the week building up our friendships with one another and sharing the love of Christ with the people of Harlan. Please look for the teens' reflections in the upcoming bulletins. Registration for Mission Trip 2024 will take place February 4, 2024. 

High School Teens are invited to the Youth Room Tuesday evenings 7:00-9pm. 
Volleyball Games take place on Thursdays at 7:30pm from January-March. Open to all 8th grade -High School Teens.

Softball Games are played on Monday at 6:30pm from June-August. Softball is open to incoming Freshmen in High School- College aged Young Adults. Cost $40 includes tshirt, ice cream and league fee. REGISTER HERE.
